Thousands of young girls skip school in order to force governments to take action for the changing climatic conditions on March 15, worldwide.
The march supports the idea as the growing climatic changes are worsening with time and no efforts are made to improve or reduce them.
The protest initiated last year with a teenager Greta Thunberg in Sweden and gained momentum after her speech in the United Nations climate summit in December, bashing delegates for not doing more.
In her speech on Friday, Greta described it as “existential crisis” which has been ignored by everyone. She has also been nominated for Nobel Peace Prize this week.
The protest was joined by other tens of thousands of girls and late followed by South Africa, India, New Zealand, South Korea and some parts of Europe.
